Diet, physical activity and lifestyles

In Europe, lifestyles have substantially changed over the last fifty years. In particular, our country has undergone significant socioeconomic and sociological changes since the 60's, including a high level of rural-urban migration, widespread women's access to work or the quick urbanization process, all of them having an impact on dietary habits due to new lifestyles, leisure time decrease or increase of machinery and technology, which are key elements to understand -not only diet changes- but also those made in lifestyle in general.

All these factors appear to have had a remarkable influence on dietary habits, behavior and physical activity of the population.
